Diversity, by its very nature, means different things, in different places, to different people. The word does not have a globally-shared or

understood meaning – for some it is based on race or gender, for some it means ethnicity and culture, and for some it can mean a recognition

of all differences. What is one country’s minority may be another country’s majority.
