September 2023 - Bridge Partners is pleased to announce the appointment of Kristin Wilson-Palmer as Chief Communications Officer at Natural Resources Defense Council.

NRDC is one of the nation’s most effective and influential environmental organizations. At the core of its mission is a simple idea: a healthy environment should be a basic right for all of us—regardless of where we live, what we look like, or how we vote. The organization’s unique approach combines the power of law, science, policy, and public engagement to create solutions for lasting change.

Wilson-Palmer joins NRDC with more than twenty years of public policy, advocacy and corporate communications experience. Most recently, she served as SVP in Edelman’s Washington, D.C. office. Over the course of her career, she has led media relations at AARP, promoted climate resilience and managed hurricane emergency communications for the Insurance Information Institute, and codeveloped the national media strategy for the Let's Move! Child Care initiative for Childcare Aware of America. She also served as a Senior Communications Manager for the Honorable Mayor Shirley Franklin in the City of Atlanta, and managed communications for the National Association of Black Journalists (NABJ) and America’s Public Television Stations (APTS).

Wilson-Palmer holds a dual Bachelor of Arts degree in English and Sociology from James Madison University and completed post-graduate studies in Communication in Contemporary Society at Johns Hopkins University.
